  • Sarawak Rural Broadband Network (MySRBN) is a Sarawak Digital transformation initiative by the Sarawak Government under the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC), to widen the coverage and provide connectivity especially to rural communities.
  • MySRBN is a subsidised prepaid package and you can start enjoying MySRBN services as LOW as RM5.
  • Every premise that within MySRBN service coverage are eligible to apply and applicant must be above 18 years old.
  • To apply for MySRBN service, you need to check your premise is within coverage using the MySDEC App then apply through MySDEC App by create “New Line”. 
  • You can download MySDEC App from Apple Store, Play Store or Huawei App Gallery.
  • The registration process through MySRBN portal will take 2 calendar days (including Saturday and Sunday) for approval. Upon confirmation of your registration, it takes up to 14 calendar days for installation.
  • Before installation, the installer will contact you through SMS or phone call to make an appointment.
  • The installer’s phone number will not be given to the customer.
  • You will get an Indoor Unit (IDU) and Outdoor Unit (ODU). The ODU contains a SIM card that resembles the SIM card on your mobile phone. You will also get the basic access training.
  • There is no up-front payment or deposit upon the application/registration 
  • MySRBN package is available in MySDEC app, download now to know more.
  • For Heavy Users, it is advisable to subscribe for promo package. 
  • Free hardware and installation worth RM1150 fully subsidized by Sarawak government.
  • You can make payment via topup through the MySDEC Apps.
  • You can subscribe to MySRBN prepaid plan through MySDEC app by selecting the ‘Buy Add-Ons’ option.
  • Initial MySRBN device is free of charge per home which is included in the MySRBN package. 
  • If you found out your device is faulty during operation, please report to our MySRBN Hotline and replacement charges will be imposed.
